It has been a long few days. I started getting sick on Wed. and spent 3 straight days in bed. Tonight I'm starting to feel icky again but I think I may actually live. I was beginning to wonder on Saturday. Hope nobody else in the family gets this crud. I got the most beautiful roses from Kevin on Thurs. and it sure brightened my day after getting so sick. Thanks kev.
We have a family in our ward that is moving to Idaho. I am really going to miss them. Such a talented and fun family. They have the cutest little guy and he gave a talk in Sacrament meeting yesterday. He talked about David and Goliath and then pulled out his slingshot and hurled something through the air. I laughed so hard. It was sweet. Grandpa said "That's the best talk I've heard in a year."
Chris started his summer ball season today. I didn't feel much like getting up but was so glad I went to his game. He pitched the first three innings. Had 4 or 5 strike outs. Pitched a seven pitch second inning. Nobody hit off of him. He was really happy about his performance on the mound yesterday. I typed up his ball schedule for the next two months to give to his boss and it made me have a headache. Wow....so many games in the next few weeks....did I mention I have a wedding in the middle of two tournaments.....I think this may be even more wild than getting married the day after Christmas.
Chris has been wanting to learn to fly fish. He's a great little fisherman and he is always running down to the creek and bringing back some really nice rainbow trout but he has never fly fished. Scott took him out back and it was so cute to watch the two of them as dad taught son the secrets of fly fishing. I managed to sneak a few pictures before they caught me. It was a precious moment. They spent the afternoon fly fishing today. Chris loved it.

You are the only person I know that actually eats, sleeps, breathes baseball and still loves it! Who know a wedding during tournaments would stress you more than Christmas. Too funny.
So glad you're feeling better. Or not, now you're making me go visiting teaching. Oh well, I need it.
YES! My wedding wasn't as hectic. Now you can't be mad at me anymore for getting married the day after Christmas! WOOT!
